經濟與管理學院組織開展“創建全國文明城市”志願服務活動

2016年9月5日，為積極響應湘潭市“創建全國文明城市”的号召，弘揚“奉獻、友愛、互助、進步”的志願精神，經濟與管理學院青年志願團組織的創文明志願服務活動于華銀區周邊路口進行。院8名志願者分上午、下午兩個高峰時間段參與此次活動。
據了解，本次志願服務活動涉及全市十多所學校、企業。活動時間從九月份開始，持續時間長達三個月，活動地點主要分布于市内部分交通路口、車站、商場等人群聚集地。各校、企業采取定點負責、輪流安排方式參與本次活動。
活動前期，經管學院青年志願團廣募志願者，學院各級在校生也積極踴躍報名參加。
志願者們在明确任務後，整齊穿戴好志願者衣帽，手持交通文明标語，協助交警，對行人闖紅燈、亂穿馬路現象進行勸阻并正确引導；對老人、兒童過馬路提供幫助；主動拾起路邊垃圾，勸阻行人亂扔垃圾等不文明行為；宣傳交通法規，引導市民文明禮讓，安全出行。大多市民也都嚴格遵守，默契配合，志願者們也獲得連連好評。
此次活動展現了經管學院志願者的風采，提升了市民對于全國文明城市創建活動的知曉率、參與率，也為市民安全出行做出了努力。
“這是我第一次參加志願服務活動，這次活動讓我在約束他人的同時也警醒了自己，要樹立生命安全意識。我覺得很有意義，也對創建文明城市、和諧社會出了一份力。”14級會計二班石霓虹同學參加本次活動接受采訪時說道。
目前，經管學院創建全國文明城市集中志願服務活動正在有序進行中。
