2023年10月31日，77779193永利黨委理論學習中心組在三教301會議室召開“大力弘揚科學家精神激發創新活力，以高水平科技自立自強推進中國式現代化”專題學習會議。院黨委書記葉文忠主持會議，院黨委理論學習中心組成員參加會議。
葉文忠指出，全體黨員領導幹部要心懷國之大者，牢記為黨育人、為國育才使命擔當，立足崗位、瞄準前沿，不斷攀登科研高峰，潛心立德樹人，将為學為事為人相統一，做大先生、做大學問、育大英才，以奮發向上的姿态推動學院高質量發展，力争在加快實現高水平科技自立自強、加快建設科技強國的征程上鑄就新的輝煌。

葉文忠強調，要依托“黃大年式教師團隊”建設，秉持科技報國理念，不斷激發創新活力，擦亮學科特色，打造面向未來的新商科。一是要更加重視學科教育，聚焦學科方向，挖掘學科特色，促進學科發展得到實實在在的提升；二是更多開展師生學術交流活動，瞄準科技前沿，服務國家戰略，推動科技成果轉化應用；三是更加完善教育體制機制，培養濃厚的科研氛圍，打好“教育教學”根基，把握“科研發展”主題，引導帶動學院科研工作高質量發展。
本次黨委理論中心組學習由分管科研工作的副院長戴魁早作中心發言，學科科研研究生工作辦公室主任楊美琴領學。與會其他人員也紛紛結合個人工作實際，就如何“大力弘揚科學家精神激發創新活力 以高水平科技自立自強推進中國式現化”進行了深入交流探讨。
